ACE HOTEL
For your convenience and comfort, we’ve secured a hotel block at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. Housed in the landmark 1927 United Artists Building, it’s got all the amenities and, most importantly, a buzzing rooftop bar. Our special rate includes a significant discounted offer as well as a waived $25 nightly resort fee ($259/night + taxes).
It’s less than ten minutes driving from the venue, and is central to everywhere in LA generally. Less than fifteen minutes flat walking distance from any whim you may have, whether it be Tylenol at CVS, fast food at Chipotle, or a blowout at Drybar.
For those of you who took advantage of the hotel block, we do not recommend parking at The Ace. It’s $50 a night. That’s ludicrous.

However, the diverse urban landscape that is Los Angeles has bountiful options! If you choose not to utilize our hotel block, we recommend booking an AirBnb or Vrbo. If you choose not to utilize our room block, we recommend staying in Highland Park, South Pasadena, Atwater Village, Silverlake, or Echo Park—all of which will be no more than 20 minutes driving distance. If you want recommendations on the West side, too bad. We hate the West side.
HOW TO GET THERE
LYFT
We highly recommend rideshare! With the Lyft app, you can hire a stranger to drive you to and from the venue for a small fee.
UBER
We highly recommend rideshare! With the Uber app, you can do the same but for a higher fee. We have no idea why it’s more expensive.
DRIVE & VALET
Grass Room offers a valet service at no cost. Well, at no cost to you, at least. We’re fronting the bill.
CARPOOL
Coordinate with friends to save money on a Lyft, gas in a car, or the environment.
TO RENT OR NOT TO RENT?
We do not recommend renting a car if you’re flying in from out of town! The parking at Ace Hotel (and anywhere in DTLA) is expensive, and navigating DTLA as a driver isn’t ideal (even we avoid it, as natives). It will likely be more cost-effective and easy to use the Uber or Lyft apps to get anywhere you need to go over the weekend. We only recommend renting a car if you’re staying outside of DTLA, and even then, we recommend using a rideshare app to get to the venue.
